I posted the attached note to misc.jobs.misc. I received quite a few responses - all asking for a 'summary of responses!' My apologies for posting this to this newsgroup (please, no flames...) but I figured that IBMers would be reading this newsgroup. Please email responses. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two questions for those of you who work at IBM or have worked there: 1. What type of net access does IBM have. I've heard that IBM is now attached to the 'net,' but you can only get access if your manager says its ok. Also, do IBM sites carry Usenet bulletin boards? 2. How difficult is it to obtain assignments abroad? Does IBM tend to staff their overseas offices completely with employees from the foreign country?
