Greetings. I'm trying to get a good copy of compress working on our 6150-125. I downloaded one from a local bbs here, but it wouldn't compile without some modifications. After I modified it (don't remember exactly what I did) it worked, but it doesn't seem to uncompress stuff I get off the net (the RT isn't hooked up to the net, I have to transfer files to it via diskettes). What will happen is that it will keep uncompressing until it runs out of space, creating a *huge* file that is unreadable. Occasionally, it will produce a semi-readable file, but than tar gets stuck on it after a few files. Does anyone have a copy of compress that will compile on the rt that they can send me, or tell me where I can obtain one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Steve -- "Watch??
