An DOS emulator called "PC Simulator" allows the RT to run DOS programs in a multiuser environment. Since IBM discontinued the RT and AIX 2.2 is basically dead (in their eyes), I don't know if it is available for the RT anymore from IBM. -- Michael Stefanik, Systems Engineer (JOAT), Briareus Corporation UUCP: ...!uunet!bria!mike -- technoignorami (tek'no-ig'no-ram`i) a group of individuals that are constantly found to be saying things like "Well, it works on my DOS machine ..."

Yes, you can connect IBM 9332 SCSI disks to the IBM SCSI controller. I believe it's possible to connect an Adaptec SCSI controller, off of which you can attach other SCSI disks. I'm not sure of the details on this, but someone else is likely to be able to shed more light on this. >2. In the MIT X11R4 distribution there is a complete R4 server for 4.3 on the RT. It runs just fine. Should build straight from the distribution. >4.
