I have been informed of and have corresponded with one lawyer on the net now (Dave Sherman -- utcsrgv!lsuc!dave). He has told me that he would like to see net.legal and that he is pretty sure that there is at least one U.S. lawyer (Dave works in Canada for the Law Society of Upper Canada) on the net. As long as these guys are willing to read the newsgroup on a regular basis and stifle any BS'ers out there swiftly, I guess you can count me in on net.legal as well. I suppose that the first legal questions here would be: Am I saying that Dave Sherman agreed to keep a watch on net.legal and correct any erroneous posters? NO If he does, how liable is he for what he says? Ask Dave Sherman.
