This probably belongs in FAQ for the RT, but can anyone direct me to where I can find X11R4 for the RT running 2.2.1. My primary reason for needing to go to R4 is for Tektronix 4014 emulation. Thanks in advance. Fred Criscuolo fcriscuo@ucsd.edu (619) 587-5341

Thanks in advance. ... |> Fred Criscuolo If you mean the Tektronix 4014 emulation in xterm then you may not really need to run an X11R4 server, all you may need to do is find a machine that has the appropriate xterm (such as an AOS 4.3 BSD for the RT) and run that with the xterm displaying on your X server. You can then rlogin back onto your machine to run the application that generates Tektronix 4014 output. If this is easy for you to try it is probably worth giving it a try as otherwise if you can't find an existing X11R4 you might have some work to do porting X11R4. PS: the X11R3 version of xterm appears to support the 4014 mode (at least according to the man page) - are you sure you need X11R4 after all? ---------------------------------------------------------------- The above views are my own, not necessarily those of my employer.
