[comp.sys.ibm.pc.rt] Printer Problem with RT

I am having a problem with two C.Itoh CI-3500 printers connected to
an RT.  Periodically one of the printers will hang during a print job
and will remain hung until the system is rebooted.  They are connected
by an IBM Serial Printer cable, one to an IBM 4-Port 232 card and the
other to the S1 port.  System load seems to be irrelevant as the
problem occurs with one user or with eight users.  We are using AIX
2.2.1 and the XON/XOFF protocol.  We are a reseller and use these
printers on an RT in-house with no problem, but this one customer seems
to suffer this problem regularly.  Has anyone experienced (and solved)
a similar problem?  Thanks.
