Well, that does it. I now have a small pile of ads on my floor ALL selling
these random-looking Remex drives for prices ranging from $45 to $60. What
breakthrough (?) allows these people to sell these drives so low? Anybody
put hands on one of these? Egads, have the Japanese perfected plastic drive
heads? :-) Maybe somebody ordered millions before noticing they weren't
half height? Feedback, anyone?

I purchased a Remex DS/DD disk drive for my TRS-80 CoCo and it
worked fine. A bit noisy, compared to my TEAC, but it did the job.
I suspect that the reason that they are so cheap is because they
have such a weird form factor: 2/3 height. If you can live with
that, you should have no trouble with them.

Yes they exist.....yes they work, and are well worth the money...
They appear to be a bit noisy, but work well and at about $100 apiece
(with case and P/S) can't be beat!
