Does anyone have a version of CMU PCIP that can be compiled using Microsoft's ver 4.0 large model? A bicc board implementation would be especially useful if available. Thanks. Tom

This is no easy matter - the whole of the tasker, the hardware drivers, etc. will need fairly heavy work to run in large model. I've never heard of anyone doing this. This was why we went to a TSR kernel in our 2.0 PC/TCP, so we could keep the kernel small-model, and let the user program be whatever language and memory model it wanted to be. Robert Cole (formerly of UCL) did a BICC driver for small-model PC/IP. I don't know if it has ever been included in any of the distributions, but you might be able to get it from BICC themselves - they distribute a PC/IP which has been largely supplanted by our PC/TCP.
