[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Intel/DCA "Communicating Applications Specification"

jbvb@VAX.FTP.COM (James Van Bokkelen) (09/03/88)

I read about it in the 8/29, Computer Systems News, p25. It is allegedly
a standard for a "Programmer-friendly interface capable of communicating
to a variety of communications protocols.". The first version is for
DOS, other OSs are alleged to be on the way.

Anybody know anything more about it? Anybody got a copy, paper or machine-
readable? Can they post it or put it up for anonymous FTP access?

I called DCA for a copy. They said it was still at the printers and put
my name on a list to get it when it comes out (end of September??)
