[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Archives available via e-mail

listmaster@TWG.COM (List Master, agent: James M Galvin) (10/25/88)

First, a quick reminder that the correct addresses for the list are:

	pcip@twg.com for contributions
	pcip-request@twg.com for administrivia

And now...

The archives are available via a mail server by sending a message to
"pcip-request@twg.com". The Subject field of the message, which must
be located in the headers of the message, should be formatted as follows:

Subject: get pcip archive volume VOL number NUM

where "VOL" is the volume number of the digest and "NUMBER" is the number
of that volume. Do NOT including leading zeroes. The volume number changes
when it is convenient for the maintainer, not at specific intervals. There
are currently 2 volumes with 25 collections each, and a third not full yet.

The message must contain a Reply-To field, either in the body or in the
headers of the message, formatted as follows:

	Reply-To: ADDRESS

where "ADDRESS" is your address as it would look to "twg.com". If you need
help determining that address, send a message to "pcip-request@twg.com".

An index is available. It may be retrieved by requesting number 0 of the
desired volume. The index consists of a collection of the subject lines of
all messages in all the digests of the requested volume, preceded by the
digest number in which that subject line appears.
