The W-D 8003 and the 8003A are quite close, but not identical. One low-level gotcha is that on the MCA, the card has to be enabled before it will appear at all. Another is that the 8003A has more memory. A third is that the MCA is a 16-bit bus, and the chip's datapaths must be set up that way. There are probably a few more. Not impossible, but not an afternoon's work, either. Get a manual before you start... I don't know of any P-D packages as of yet, but our PC/TCP handles the WD8003A as of version 2.03 (released last month). James VanBokkelen FTP Software Inc.
