Several weeks ago an associate of mine posted a message to the net about problems we had been having using Wollengong's WIN/PC software on our PC's with 3Com 3C505's in them. Since then Wollengong has shipped us an updated version of the software that seems to have cleared up almost all of the problems. The only problem left (which really only amounts to an annoyance because it always recovers from it) is that periodically we get about a 5-10 second pause followed by the folowing message: cmd505: timeout waiting for cmd 0 et_init: unable to read 3c505's ethernet number cmd505: timeout waiting for cmd 0 3c505.drv: unable to set 3c505 mode It happens using telnet, ftp and rlogin trying to connect to either an Apollo or a Motorola System V R3V4 system (the only systems on the LAN besides the PC's). Also, it occurs from both an IBM AT and an XT-286, and I have tried 3 different 3C505's in either of those machines. We are using DOS V3.2 and WIN/PC V3.2.1. Any ideas on what could be causing this? .... Troy
