[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] help with ps/2 ncsa telnet and 3c523

gutherz@athos.rutgers.edu (Matt Gutherz) (11/16/88)

Like the subject says "help". Has anyone gotten this to combo to work?
The ps/2 is a model 80. The telnet is version 2.2 off a work AT/3c501
combo. It starts fine, reads the config.tel, then displays a consol
message that end in "press alt-H for help" and the hangs. Is it
something in the config file or is it the executable

				Thanks for you input in advance,

The most probable cause for the 3C523 not working for NCSA Telnet is
not having the config.tel file configured with:
address=c000
ioaddr=2300

Note that the address is the shared memory SEGMENT, four hex digits. These
two values must match what you selected in the configuration step when
you installed the board.

I apologize for not using the POS, we always seem to be in a rush when
it comes to new drivers.
