In response to James Van Bokkelen's offer to post version 1.8 of the FTP Pacet Driver Specs.... I'd like to get a copy. Is it available yet? I can ftp it. Is it posted someplace? I have a little more to do on v1.08, mostly related to completing the definitions for the multicast address list functions. I should finish this within a week. Unless you intend to implement the "extended functions", the current draft may suffice. Get it from vax.ftp.com, as pub/packet-d.mss for the FinalWord II (Sprint) formatted version, .ascii for a straight Ascii printable file, or .prn for HP Laserjet w/TMS Proportional 2 font cartridge. jbvb

It is intended that 1.8 be fully upwards-compatible with all previous versions of the Packet Driver spec (in other words, if you use only the features found in the older versions, you will work with all versions). jbvb
