Folks, For those who have tried: Is there a way, using terminal emulation or otherwise, for a display device (spefically a PC AT-compatible with EGA) to run GDDM applications on a VM host over a TELNET connection? (Does TN3270 support GDDM?) Regards Bryan Gorman

No, "tn3270" for the PC doesn't support GDDM unless you play some strange games (you can put the Berkeley version into "transparent data" mode, like a Series/1 or 7171 or whatever, and then send down data which some ANSI.SYS-like program might interperet as TEK data). There is a Mac tn3270 (from Brown) that DOES work easily with GDDM. It emulates a 3192 or some such beast. Greg Minshall Kinetics ...!ucbvax!unisoft!kinetics!minshall (415)947-0998
