[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Ethernet card for NCSA_Telnet V2.2.

lim@cwlim.CWRU.EDU (Hock-Koon LiM) (01/28/89)

I have just found some old ethernet interface cards from INTERLAN
model NI5010-01 and 3COM model 2012. Is anyone have a version of
NCSA_Telnet could use these as a interface card? Also is anyone know
the status of NCSA_Telnet using 3COM503 card?

Thanks,

I have a version of NCSA Telnet (2.2) which supports FTP software's
packet driver spec. I also have an NI5010 packet driver. The combination
seems to work well.

I know knothing about the 3com cards.

NCSA Telnet does not support the MICOM NI5010 or any 3Com boards
before the 3C500 series.

At NCSA we are working on, but would still appreciate help with:
3Com 3C503
MICOM NI9210
PC-AppleTalk
Support for other boards is in debate right now.
