We just got TCP/IP up and running on our combined ethernet-appletalk network. I am looking for some way for our PC's on the appletalk side to have the same functionality as the MACs, namely, TELNET and FTP to the VAX on the ethernet. Has anyone modified KA9Q or NSCA to work over a PC appletalk card? Are there any other implementations available? Or should I just give up and buy ethernet cards for the PCs? Advance thanks to anyone who can help.

I have recently posted a PC-AppleTalk version of NCSA Telnet in our NCSA_Telnet/contributions directory on ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu (128.174.20.50). This is a test version which probably will have bugs. Please report any problems with it to telbug@ncsa.uiuc.edu. Tim Krauskopf NCSA We are working on a mail-based server, but until you see it on this list, don't ask me for a copy by mail.
