[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Fixed version of NCSA 2.2TN for 3c523 card now available.

bkc@OMNIGATE.CLARKSON.EDU (Brad Clements) (05/09/89)

There have been many requests for a version of NCSA telnet 2.2D/2.2TN
that would work on PS/2 3C523 cards. I have found the bug in the 3c523
driver and made available the tn3270 binary via anonymous ftp
from omnigate.clarkson.edu :/pub/ncsa2.2tn/tn3270.exe.Z

This binary has been tested and does work with the 3c523 card.

This file is also available via E-mail from

	archive-server@sun.soe.clarkson.edu

	send ncsa2.2tn Index

The index file has detailed instructions for retrieving this working binary
and reconstructing the uuencoded files.

Sorry for the delay in making this announcement, I was hoping to get in a
major upgrade before wasting network bandwidth with this announcement.

Thanks to everyone who has sent in bug reports etc, keep your complaints
and comments coming. They're helpful. Also, I have not made available
a fixed version of telbin.exe or ftpbin.exe (no one has expressed an
interest) if there is drastic need for these two programs on your
3c523 equipped machine, please let me know.
