[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] FTP

richard@bigtuna.UUCP (Richard Foulk) (07/11/88)

I've been having a problem with FTP Software's PC/TCP package
(ver. 2.01) that I thought someone might be able to help with.

When I rcp something to a unix host (Sun, etc.) the file permissions
always come up with no access for group and other (0600). Is there
any way to change this?

Another question; are there any public-domain rcp, rlogin and rsh
utils available (having no source is a pain)? And, is there an
rlogin daemon/server available anywhere? Free or otherwise.

Thanks.

I am *VERY URGENTLY* searching for the address of FTP (they have TCP/IP
products for the PC). Please can anybody tell me?
Reply by email.
Thanks, Johnny

They have moved, although I would be surprised if you couldn't find
out to where by either mailing or calling the old address/number.
Sorry but I don't have the new address.
