[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] PCNFS to IBM mainframe

<TED@vm.utcs.utoronto.ca> (11/10/89)

Hi,
I have PCNFS version 3 running on my XT, using a 3C503 card.
I succesfully got NFS to talk to our SUN 3/280 running Sun OS 3.5,
the problem I have is when I try to use IBM's mainframe NFS server.
When I try to write a file which is more then 8192 bytes in length
I get an ERROR READING DRIVE x.

Our Sun does not have problems writing large files to our VM system
nor do I have problems writing large files to the Sun.
I sort of don't know whom to point the finger at.
Does anybody else have their PC's talking to the IBM NFS server?
And if you do how did you get it to work?
