If PCS/TCP is FTP Software's PC/TCP package then there is an alternative in the offing soon. The PC/TCP package supports an Int 14h Bios serial port hook permitting external terminal emulators to use the Telnet communications path. Employing one of them then reduces the applications keypad issue to finding a suitable emulator. MS Kermit does that job fairly well and the next release will have VT320 support in addition to VT102/VT52/Heath-19; it also can use that Int 14h hook. There are other packages which I'm sure will do equally well. Joe D.

"PC/TCP" is the FTP Software product. "PCS/TCP" is what Bridge called the TCP/IP that they did using their 68000-based PCS/1 smart board. 3Com may still call the product that, or may have broadened it to include the Stanford-derived code they sell for their other interfaces (also inherited from Bridge).
