[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] PKT-driver and MIT/CMU Netwatch- answer.

I rewrote parts of the Packet Driver shell and added the zillion of
corrections needed to run NetWatch over Packet Drivers. When multiple
applications are using the PD interface then NetWatch takes only what the
others don't, and yes it runs the board in promiscuous mode while it's
active. Works fine here. The upgraded (to spec) PD material will be posted
to Clarkson's archive when I get out from beneath another commuications
project deadline. I don't want to send individuals the PC/IP code because
it's sooo large, but somehow the changes will be made public.

Sounds like we finally have a reason to add promiscuous mode to the packet
drivers. Thanks, Joe. I'm looking forward to it.
