I have a user interested in developing login scripts for his PC to use with telnet to a mainframe. In other words, he wants to see a menu on his PC and be able to pick, say, item (1) which automagically logs him into one of his mainframe accounts. Item (2) might log him into another mainframe account or a unix account or something. No one here has done anything like that except using Kermit. Any ideas?? Much thanks, in advance, for any clues or info you can give me. ========================================================================= +--------------+ D. You can use Kermit itself (or a commercial serial comm package with script capability) with any Telnet/Rlogin that supports redirecting BIOS serial INT 14 to the network (Beame & Whiteside, 3Com, FTP Software). You can also use commercial products like WR&Q's or DCS's which consist of fancy terminal emulation using Telnet or Rlogin over a TCP/IP protocol stack (PC/TCP, PC-NFS). James B.
