[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Clarkson IBMTOKEN.COM on PC/XT?

rick@ut-emx.UUCP (Rick Watson) (02/27/90)

I'm trying to use the Clarkson IBMTOKEN packet driver on a PC/XT.
It hangs after:

DOS> ibmtoken 0x61 0
[some verbage removed]
Packet driver loaded at segment 1926
Packet interrupt number 0x61 (97)
Adapter (0 or 1) 0x (0)
INSTALL: Initializing the adapter...
         opening the adapter...

A very similar configuration works for me
on a 286 clone -- DOS 3.3 with DXMA0MOD.SYS, DXMC0MOD.SYS, DXMT0MOD.SYS.

Has anyone else successfully used IBMTOKEN on an XT?

Although the author of the packet driver has it working on a
zenith XT clone, I couldn't get it to work on a true blue
IBM XT either.
