Not to be nit-picky, but according to RFC1009 ("Requirements for Internet Gateways") page 4, paragraph 2, "it [the gateway] has a physical interface and an IP address on each of the connected networks." I am developing a Sytek to Ethernet Gateway based on KA9Q ... it seems like giving the gateway one IP address is sufficient (and I don't see how I could even give it another one). It is going to be a transparent gateway (ie - the Sytek LAN address space is a subnet of the Ethernet) Is this acceptable? Regards, Paul
