[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] pcip info.

ecollins@NMSU.EDU (03/19/90)

Hello,

I'm working on an X window server for the PC as a graduate research project.
I would like to include serial support and am interested in using pcip. I
have the full dist. for the PC but did not recv. the Unix code. I would
appreciate any information on the status of pcip, where I can get the full dist.
and anything else you may be able to tell me about it.

Thank you,

Mike Collins. ecollins@nmsu.edu

Clarkson has an alpha release of their version of NCSA Telnet with
tn2370 support that runs under PC-NFS. It is available on
omnigate.clarkson.edu under pub/cutcp.

Would the SLIP packet driver do the trick?
If you want the widest possible use of your program(s), then you should
probably use packet drivers.
