Hello folks, We having an intermittent problem here with ours PCs running Sun's PCNFS 3.0. What happens is that sometimes printer output which is supposed to be directed to a network printer starts scrolling across the user's screen instead. The next time they try to print, it will probably work fine. We are using programs which produce PostScript output (WordPerfect, Enable, Harvard Graphics etc), but are not mounting in PostScript mode since our spooler is able to recognize all of these as PostScript without help. Any thoughts? Fixed in 3.0.1? Thanks, Ted Nolan ted@usasoc.soc.mil (new addresses)

A quick fix was to dismount and remount the printer resource. A real pain, but let the user print the document that was currently failing. > Any thoughts? Fixed in 3.0.1? Yes, it is fixed in the 3.0.1!!!! Fred -- Fred Sieg uucp: ...!uunet!ccicpg!legs!freds AST Research Inc.
