The wd8003e is an 8 bit dumb card, the wd8003ebt (aka wd8013ebt) is a 16 bit
smart card.

No!  The WD8003 and WD8003 are almost identical.  The 8003 and the
8003EBT are the same except that the 8003EBT has a Boot ROM socket.
The 8003EBT may also have 32Kb of buffer RAM in some versions, but
making your driver use it is optional.  Both use 8-bit data paths on
the AT or XT bus. Neither has an on-board processor, so they aren't
what is commonly accepted as 'smart' cards.

	Does it (the ebt) work with the wd8003e NSCA telnet packet driver?
