	PC POP & MacPOP

Many of you have been asking where to find PC POP. We did a in
house port of the RFC's for the NASA Research Centers. The PC
version requires NCSA Telnet 2.3b7/8 operating packet drivers
or any Excelan ethernet card. The user interface is modeled after
TOPS-20 using two windows. There are alot of features like
enclosing binary programs automatically in mail message included
with this implementation. Sources are available too.

There is also a MacPOP. MacPOP requires a Kinetics Box as the
AppleTalk TCP/IP gateway. You also need Mac TCP and the CAP
software to get all the bells and whistles this package can offer.

Both clients and the POP sever are available via anonymous ftp to

	trident.arc.nasa.gov (128.102.18.13)
