Are the hooks that TCP/IP NFS products use to hook into the file system documented and freely available for OS/2? Can a Lan Manager server SHARE a NFSed/PCSAed drive so that other people can get at it? Ie NFS mount unix root and then do it's own permission checking on parts of the root?

>Are the hooks that TCP/IP NFS products use to hook into the file system >documented and freely available for OS/2? The Microsoft "Installable File System" interface is proprietary, and documentation is not freely available; ask Microsoft for details. >Can a Lan Manager server SHARE a NFSed/PCSAed drive so that other people >can get at it? Ie NFS mount unix root and then do it's own permission >checking on parts of the root? I may be talking through my hat here (out at the edge of my expertise), but that kind of 'pass-thru' access is a bit sophisticated for what LAN Manager tries to be. I wouldn't bet on it. James B.
