[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] KA9Q and SLIP

CAPUANO%ICNUCEVM.CNUCE.CNR.IT@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU ("Vincenzo G. Capuano") (07/30/90)

Hi,
I have an IBM PS/2 connected via a serial cable to an Olivetti M24
(ATT 6300), when I transfer files with Kermit everything goes ok:
I mean that Kermit runs at 19200 baud and no packet is retransmitted
and no error is detected.
When I try to use KA9Q with FTP to transfer files, I cannot terminate
a session, because of alot of packet retransmissions. I tried to run
it at 1200 baud and also noticed some packet retransmissions.
Where am I wrong?

Thanks
Vincenzo.
