[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] MacNET ? MacNOS ?

dumas@EUROPE.CISCO.COM (Jean-Pierre Dumas) (07/30/90)

I am trying to set up and use the KA9Q package on a Mac.
And I do not succeed...

I use currently NCSA 2.3 on the same Mac, without too many
problems. (The handling of ^C is a problem, but this is an other story.)

I am on the LocalTalk, with a Gator box to the local Ethernet.
I have too an Asynch connection to a Terminal Server to be used with
SLIP or straight terminal connection.
(I'd love too to have a SLIP driver on the Mac for KA9Q.)

I used to have NET or NOS on a PC, with a 3com card on Ethernet, works OK.

Can some kind soul tell me what is wrong with my setup ?
And/Or point me toward a better, more recent version ?

Regards,
