Hi everybody, I am a user of KA9Q, the Internet package for the IBM PC. I have two suggestions to make in this posting; The first one is a Microsoft Windows interface to KA9Q, which will make it much more useful and interesting. Multiple windows with different sessions running in separate windows would be a real boost for this product. The programming effort that this would take will probably make it worth paying money for, don't you agree? My second suggestion is a PC version of the IRC ( Internet Relay Chat ) program. To port the code and make use of KA9Q for TCP-IP connections is pretty easy. The source code for IRC is public domain and it can be ftp'ed by anonymous ftp. The programming effort will be relatively small compared to the MS Windows project. If you're not familiar with IRC, send me e-mail and I'll send you info abou it. Unfortunately, I don't have the time and resources to start any of these projects on my own, so I thought somebody in Net Land would find these suggestions reasonable and exciting enough to take a serious look at them.
