[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] can KA9Q NOS pass the bootp broadcast ??

josevela@mtecv2.mty.itesm.mx (Jose Angel Vela Avila) (08/13/90)

   This is my problem :

I have a bootp server ( a Unix machine), in my subnet 131.178.1.x, then
I have my gateway (KA9Q NOS) between this subnet and my other subnet, the
131.178.5.x , my cuestion is, can the KA9Q NOS route the bootp broadcast send
by a machine on the 131.178.5.x subnet to the bootp server in the 131.178.1.x
subnet ????; if so, what do I have to do ?, how can I configure it ??

  Thanks !!

I didn't find any BOOTP support in KA9Q, but pcroute (also PD) will do
BOOTP routing.
