Geez, I find the posts on this newsgroup so near to incomprehensible that I'm almost afraid to post. What I'm looking for are a list of answers to frequently asked questions, and/or some references to some kind of an introduction to networking, with PC's in particular, but general networking would be okay too. I'd like to try to write some programs to run on networked PCs, but I have a feeling any question that I could ask would merely reveal my complete ignorance. Sean Owens sean@unix.cis.pitt.edu
