Is there a packet driver that will work with the Xircom pocket LAN adapter (the little thing that plugs into your parallel port). I'd like to plug one into my Tandy 1100FD... Paul DuBois dubois@primate.wisc.edu

Yes, there is, Just ask them for it. While you're at it, ask them for
a copy of the source, too. I'm not allowed to distribute it.

Xircom ships a packet driver with the adapter. I find I have to run it twice (boot, reboot) in order to get it to work. It's based on the Clarkson skeleton, and I think they're being lame about the proper copyrights. If so, they should be yelled at. Modulo that, the adapter is a very nice product. - john romkey USENET/UUCP: romkey@asylum.sf.ca.us Internet: romkey@ftp.com "Do you accept Christ as your personal saviour?"
