[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Using PC POP with CUTCP

jim@dorm.rutgers.edu (Jim Martin) (09/20/90)

I've got a bit of a problem here. I'm giving the students in
the dorm I just networked CUTCP to handle their telnet, lpr, and ftp
needs, both over slip and 10Base-T. I'm using the clarkson stuff over
the NCSA because it can handle the slip packet driver, which is one of
my main criteria. I'm trying to make PC Pop from Ames NASA work with
the clarkson stuff, but it wedges every time. When I try it with
straight NCSA, ( as the documentation suggests) it works just fine.
Does anyone have a way to make the clarkson stuff and PC POP work
together, or even just the sources to the PC POP program?
Alternatively, could someone suggest another mail reader that can run
over both SLIP and straight ethernet over top of the clarkson packet
drivers? Thanks!
