[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] PCNFS 3.0 and Packet Drivers 7.0

rmr@sdcsvax.ucsd.edu (Robert Rother) (10/19/90)

I can't seem to get PCNFS to work with the Clarkson Packet Drivers. My
configuration is as follows:

	SUN 3/160 running SUNOS 4.1
	ATT W6386 running DOS3.3
	PCNFS3.0 using a wd8003e
	Clarkson Packet Drivers 7.0 (and earlier versions...)
	pktd.sys Version 3.2 (and 3.02)
	Bootp2.1

I have PCNFS running with the native wd3008e driver, and I have the
packet drivers running with the cutcp and pcippkt packages. I'm just
having no luck with getting PCNFS up under the packet drivers.

My AUTOEXEC.BAT looks like the following

SET TZ=PST8DT
set PATH=C:\nfs;.....
A:wd8003e 0x60 0x2 0x280 0xd000
A:bootp
net prt *
nsfrun
net name *

My CONFIG.SYS looks like the following

DEVICE=A:ANSI.SYS
DEVICE=A:NETDEV.SYS
DEVICE=A:PCNSF.SYS
DEVICE=A:SOCKETDRV.SYS
DEVICE=A:PKTD.SYS

Can anyone tell me what foolish thing I am overlooking!

Thanks,
Robert Rother
