[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] Packet Driver for 10-Net Starlan Card Needed

selig@udcps3.cps.udayton.edu (Paul D. Selig) (10/18/90)

I'm looking for a packet driver for the 10-Net (DCA Corporation) 200 Series
Bus/Starlan Card (the 2 Mb card). I don't recall seeing one, but I don't
want to start writing one until I check to be sure that I wouldn't be
duplicating anyone's efforts.

I do know that FTP Software has written a a driver for their PC/TCP software
to run this card - how similar is this packet driver to the Clarkson drivers?

Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!

The driver for the 10-Net cards written by 10-Net/DCA is in fact a
Packet Driver, and it was written by them.

FTP Software developed and maintains the packet driver specification, but
we do not write packet drivers. The packet drivers we distribute come from
two sources; the Clarkson University collection, and the card manufacturers.
