Do anyone know anything about 3COM 3c505 ethernet boards?? The BBS I am in charge of currently recieved an old 3c505 from the CS department. The BBS is on a PC 286 6/10mHz machince. I tried using the 3c505 packet driver at <sun.soe.clarkson.edu>:pub but I keep getting the following message: > Packet Driver for 3c505, version 7. > Portions copyright 1989, Krishnan Gopalan & Gregg Stefancik. > Clemson University Engineering Comp Ops. > Packet driver skeleton copyright 1988-90, Russell Nelson. > This program is free software; see the file COPYING for details. > NO WARRANTY; see the file COPYING for details. > > > Packet driver loaded at segment 2CCA > > *** Packet driver failed to initialize the board *** The board has no documents and the drivers documents are not very clear.
