[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] novell tcpip

perry@MCL.UNISYS.COM (Dennis Perry) (11/07/90)

We have quite a few novell networks with tcpip servers which connect
to other networks which connect to the internet. We also have our own
internal "internet" which spands the country.

A problem we seem to be having is that the addresses generated by the
Interlan software do not seem to be correct when they arrive outside.
We also seem to be having trouble with getting the software to use the
name server as opposed to the host table. We would also like to set up
the novell server/gateway to redistribute the mail to the other servers
as appropriate.

Any ideas on the above would be welcome.

Our MIS people are responsible for this but do not have a lot of experience
in networking/TCPIP. Now, main frames, that is heaven :-)
