Most of them allow you to open UDP connections (e.g. accept incoming UDP
datagrams from partially or fully-specified host/foreign-port/local-port
tuples).  Some use 4bsd sockets to do this, others use different schemes.
Ours offers both sockets and our own interface (which allows access from
TSRs), Sun, TWG and BW-TCP support at least sockets.
