I have posted to this newsgroup on a couple of occassions for advice on running public domain IP implementations over an IBM Token Ring LAN using the Clarkson packet drivers. With the help of the responses I received I have successfully got NCSA Telnet, CUTCP and PC/IP all going quite nicely - thank you. I have not, however, been able to get either PCPOP (from NASA Ames) or POPmail for PC (from UoMinnesota) to work. Has anybody out there got either of these packages running over the IBMTOKEN packet driver ? I am desperate for suggestions on this! Alternatively, 1. Is there a nice POP client for PC/IP ? (that is known to work over IBMTOKEN!) 2. Is there anyone out there running a PC POP client of any flavour at all (commercial, public domain) over the IBMTOKEN packet driver ? I can't believe that it could be this hard to get POP going if the other packages run so nicely! Yours desperately!
