Greetings:
I'm intrested in finding out about existing implementations of IMAP
and PCMAIL protocols. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Mark Crispin recently posted re: IMAP on "tcp-ip", but I don't have a copy
handy. He described a freeware implementation, I don't know of any commercial
versions yet. A freeware implementation of PCMAIL (DOS and Unix clients
and Unix repository) is available from allspice.lcs.mit.edu. Commercial
PCMAIL clients are included in Essex Systems' and FTP Software's OS/2
TCP/IP packages, and in FTP's DOS TCP/IP package. I don't know of any
commercially supported servers yet.
