Anyone out there have any experience with a peer-to-peer called 10Net Plus ?? Any comments appreciated, especially if you've used it with a card other than DCA's 10Net card. Also, if you've used it in conjunction with TCP/IP I'd like to hear about your experience, (please!) Thanks. Any comments appreciated, especially if you've used it with a card other than DCA's 10Net card. Also, if you've used it in conjunction with TCP/IP I'd like to hear about your experience, (please!) My site has been evaluating the 10Net product on a variety of hardware, and I think that it is a neat front end to facilitate LAN usage/resource allocation, especially for novice users. It is pretty robust, and works well with certain memory expansion devices, like the RYBS Hi-Card, allowing you to stuff drivers out of your 640K DOS memory. There are a couple of little things that we've had to have tweaked, but they generally deal with connecting to poor implementations of NETBIOS over TCP (like Locus's SMB product). I also haven't been able to get CB (a multi-user real time chat program) to work. DCA has been quite responsive to our requests, and has even sent people out with LAN monitors to determine why 10Net couldn't see resources advertised by our 3B2's. I have tested several flavors of 10Net (8 user, 64 user, etc.) on TRW 2001/2501/3001 cards, WD cards (can't remember which one), DCA's card, and 3C503's, and they've generally all worked correctly. This was under TRW OSC 4.06 (a modified FTP PC/TCP version 2.04). I have also tested the MS-Windows version, and it is very nice to use.
