[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] telnet terminal emulators

pete@wvus.wciu.edu (Pete Gregory) (12/21/90)

Hi - we have purchased Sun PC-NFS-51 (Version 3.0.1) for several MS-DOS
machines that are connected (via 10BT) to a Unisys 6000/70 (Sequent S27)
via NFS and Telnet.

Telnet emulates vt100 which, as you may know, only has four function keys.
PC-NFS does not provide any other terminal emulation or keyboard mapping
facilities. We need function keys F1-F10 for use with some UNIX-based
office-automation software we're using (Uniplex).

Anyone know of other Telnet/NFS products that provides more flexible
keyboard mapping and/or terminal emulation?

Thanks...
