[comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc] SLIP & ka9q

I am trying to connect two computers by SLIP, each running the ka9q
software. One has an ethernet card, which I would like to be able to
"go through" to access other computers. Is this possible? I am
currently able to telnet, ftp, finger, and send mail from each computer
to the other, but I cannot telnet from the one without the ethernet card
to anywhere except to the one with the card. Any suggestions? All help
is greatly appreciated!

Sounds to me like you have added the directly connected host to your host
table, but not added a default route in the table on the SLIPed machine.

(This is a guess; this is only a guess. In the event of an actual fact,
you would have been instructed to use the original documentation with
specific information)
