My original posting concerned problems I was having creating NETWATCH from the PCIP sources for use with packet drivers. Because of the number of people who mailed me directly I'll summarize the findings here. (A few replied with the same problem, so I wasn't alone.) The answer is that it can be done. The archive at netlab.usu.edu in directory [anonymous.netwatch], (N.B. VMS), has a compiled version for packet drivers. It is maintained by one Joe Doupnik. This is numbered Version 9.6. Thanks to ronald@robobar.co.uk for that. There is also a compiled PCIP package at funic.funet.fi in directory pub/msdos/pcip. Thanks to dahlstr@hus.chalmers.se (and others) for that. Because of delays in getting stuff by BITFTP I have only had a quick look at NETWATCH from USU but it seems to work. We are using D-Link DE-100 cards. My thanks to all who took their time to assist me. Once again the net to the rescue. -- =============================================================================== Conor Nolan Phone: 772941 (X1741) Snr.
