Hi everybody , I've got a problem someone may have a solution for,
any help would be great.
Firstly a brief summary of how we work.
Here at monash we run a number of novell networks (2.15).
They are mainly used for loading software, students don't get to write
to them. We also use the Packetdriver interface and the PD_ipx driver
hence we can run novell and telnet/ftp at the same time. This is an easy
thing to do, of course.
The problem is we are now getting a number of programs which require
a serial line to talk to our vax. These programs use a front end on the
pc and a back end on the vax. The program also allows you to use the int14
interface.
We have a server copy of FTP's software and the tnglass program works
fine, but this server is not available for students. (We can't afford at
the moment to buy another copy either :-(
What we would like to get is a INT14 program that works with the Packetdrivers
much the same way as NCSA telnet.
Can anybody out there help ?
Thanks
Dave Schwarz
