Greetings; I bought a copy of the FTP Software Development Kit about 5 months ago, and am only now getting around to finding time to use it. I have just purchased a copy of TurboC++, and like it very much. However, the DevKit manual says it ONLY works with MS 5.1. I know that it works OK with QC2.5 (tried that), but don't know about Turbo. Anyone had any luck with Turbo and the Kit? If it won't work, I don't want to waste my time trying to puzzle it out. I'm just starting to network program, the QC test was done by a friend who is a net hacker. You can use Turbo C++ with FTP SW Kit but you must then use the sw ints go use the FTP ip kernel. Don't link in the msc.lib files with your app or your in big trouble. I have done this and created a c++ telnet program. -- todd (booth) todd@quotron.com 213 302-4368
